A special military unit fights a powerful, out-of-control supercomputer and hundreds of scientists who have mutated into flesh-eating creatures after a laboratory accident.

Still a great movie but as I get older its not as great as it used to be yet still manages to continue to hold its own in a long series that continues to improve with each new installment which is impressive considering most movies with multiple sequels under its belt tends to destroy the entire franchise it built.

I believe Resident Evil has only improved with age. With the coming final installment due to release soon I decided to touch bases with the start of the series again.

I think its age that has changed my opinion of the movie as I would have rated it five stars once.

I still think Resident Evil is a great movie and would take it over many others which is saying something considering the fact that I’m not a big fan of the zombie movement. Resident Evil does it well.
